A New Year Has Cum!

Happy New Year, Everybody!!!

The following folks are celebrating a new year in more than one way this month:

• Today is Silencio's 38th birthday - Happy Birthday, Silencio!
• JC Etheredge will be 33 on the 8th
• Sean Platter advances to 51 on the 10th
• Benoît Prévot turns 45 on the 15th
• Chayne Avery will be completing his Fourth decade of life on the 21st
• PK Eiselt follows with his 36th year on the 22nd
• and BeefyBlimps celebrates his golden birthday; turning 28 on the 28th

So it's traditional for many to start the new year with resolutions. It's been years since I made New Year Resolutions, but when I did - I usually fulfilled all of them. So, I'm gonna make some resolutions this year.

Bent-Con 2012 Recap

So it's been two weeks since the extravaganza gathering of gay geeks, Bent-Con, occurred. The event is so overwhelmingly fun, it takes me at least a week to recover.
Many of you already know what Bent-Con is, but for the benefit of those who don't, I'll explain. Bent-Con is an annual LGBT Comic Convention. It's technically 3 years old, but this is its second "official" year. Bent-Con gives home to artist, writers, directors, and anyone else showcasing queer work that usually is either overshadowed or more often excluded all together from other comic conventions. Fans can enjoy works they would normally miss out on as well as participate in cosplay they would usually not be free to or feel comfortable wearing.
This year's show was packed with so many great panels, it was not easy picking which ones to attend. Celebrities like  Amber Benson, Tom Lenk, Christopher Rice, and even Traci Lords got in on this years fun along with Celebrity creatives like Jane Espenson, Phil Jimenez, Wendy Pini, Marc Andreyko, and too many more to list without this looking like one of those linage books of the Bible. Here are a few highlights from the show...

SEAN PLATTER

Hey Everybody!

This month's interview is LONG overdue, but well worth the wait. I had the honor of being "Boothed" next to this amazing artist at last year's Bent-Con. Sean Platter was every much as friendly as he is talented.  Not only is Sean one of my favorite erotic artist, I learned he was an artist on several of the cartoons I watched growing up!

I learned a good bit about him as well as a lot  from him.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Happy New Year, Everybody!
Happy New Year! Happy New Year! Happy New Year!!!

I couldn't be happier to say goodbye to 2010 and hello to a brand new year! I'm very excited about some new projects and some changes that will be happening to the blog in the near future, but more about that later...
Right now, it's time to recognize Birthdays happening this month:

5th - Silencio
8th - JC Etheredge
10th - Sean Platter
21st - Chayne Avery
28th - BeefyBlimps

Be sure to show these phenomenal artists some birthday love, folks!

I'm kickin the year off with a Q&A with the Fallen Messiah, himself, FMX! FMX is adorable, funny, and packin major talent. You will enjoy getting to know him as much as I did.

I've also got some new monthly originals to share as well as fan and slash art!
It's gonna be a great year, folks! It's gonna be a great year.
"I can feel it in me waters" :)

Happy New Year, Everybody.
